TSB: Obama gets tough with Bibi. UN
Security Council demands peace with Hamas, IMMEDIATELY! (before Wolf Blitzer wakes up and realizes what happened.) gwb

GWB: If the UNSC were really serious, they'd field a peacekeeping force to police Gaza and control its border crossings. Won't happen, of course. But, a Muslim army likeTurkey's or Pakistan's could very likely simmer HAMAS down. Stop the incessant rockets, and Israel would stop the retaliation.

TSB: A neighbor was an army MP when Carter opened the US to Cuban refugees. He was in charge of guarding 1200? of them at Ft.McCoy, WI. When one was shot scaling the chain link fence the MP's were disarmed except for the OIC. He says
when the inevitable riot happened only 4 of his men were not killed. He says the Cubans are still being held at an old MD navy base and naturally the public has not been informed. Make sense? gwb

GWB: You're reading my mind. I was just looking at the lessons learned report of the Army's Cuban Resettlement Task Force at Ft. Chaffey, AK. It reads amazingly like a preview of what's going on now with border-crashing underage aliens.

The Army couldn't do satisfactory health screenings for TB; school-trained Spanish speakers couldn't communicate with the Cubans (they only understood Puerto Rican NG troops); the releasable ones were quickly let go, so the camp soon became dominated by hardcore criminal types; at first, the MPs were not allowed to use force, then, when bluffing no longer worked, they had to bust heads.

I don't know about riots in WI and I didn't hear of any MPs killed. The unreleasable Marielitos went to federal prisons, were they might be still. I doubt any are being held in an undisclosed prison.

TSB: My neighbor had only a service 45 when the Marieltos knocked down two chain link fences to get out and then came back at the unarmed MP's with bats
and makeshift knives. They were rounded up quickly by soldiers who killed a lot of them with Jeeps. His main point was that they were all from mental institutions and ready to kill each other or anybody else. Yeah, it's just like our Mexican prison gangs, black and skinheads. gwb

TSB: Another job he had in the Army was transporting Sarin gas in tanker trucks from Ft. Jaffe Arkansas to Colorado. They wore civilian clothes; were armed with M-16's and the trucks said MILK on the outside. They moved very carefully because a bullet hole would have killed them all before they could get their chem suits on. gwb

GWB: Your friend and I must have been MPs during the same era. I never did the Chem-Bio weapons protection, but I remember the training. Ask him if he remembers The Pistol Palace at Ft. McClellan AL.

TSB: I think you are correct! The part of the original story from WI was something he saw years later on 60 minutes. He said his best Army memories were from Alabama. Second best were from Ft.Hood. I'll ask about the pistol palace. gwb

TSB: As the CO, he had the only Colt 45 with 12 bullets. They all had batons and face shields but no training in how to use them.

After his room mate bled to death
(because it took forever to get the only medic to arrive) his superiors decided he needed a break. (because there was no PTSD back then) so how about driving sarin gas around the country in a milk truck? That should be relaxing! At Ft. Hood he discovered music at the same Elvis built building (1959) that I worked in and started a band. Small world! gwb

TSB: A big problem for the disarmed MP's was they weren't allowed to have cameras to record
the daily murders and weapons they
had to deal with. Funny that the Abu Ghraib geniuses never thought of that. Also, when Elvis built the Ft. Hood Rec Center he supplied it with a complete set of band intruments you could check out and a recording studio. All that was still there to use 25 years later. gwb

GWB: I'm sure the Obama-Bibi conversation was strained, but the transcript seems fake. The Russians set a high bar for these kind of disclosures; the rule now is "audio or it didn't happen."

On Ft. Hood, that was a nice from Elvis. Good for him! Those were better days in America when pop stars were willing to do their military service, like everybody else.

TSB: This could be interesting. If AM gets this deal with Putin she could resign in a few months and go out on a high note having been the only leader willing/able to negotiate with Putin. gwb

Well that would be some deal GWB. One it would signal the end of US foreign dominance, at least for awhile. The de facto end of the EU with Germany turning east, the Uk north to the Scandinavian countries, possible with France.
